| My friend Todd suggested that I see some
diving while I'm in Sydney. He was right, this was a fun event!
The Chinese showed clear dominance in the field of forty, taking the top one and two spots in this first round. A pair of Canadians held on to the next two spots and the top American, Laura Wilkinson grabbed the fifth spot going into the semi-finals. Eighteen divers advance to the next round, the other American in the meet, Sara Reiling also advanced with a fourteenth place finish in the prelim. |
